My ipod touch will not play in shuffle mode plays a couple of tracks then stops

you might have reset to shuffle again

The iPod's shuffle feature lets you randomize playback of albums, songs or even your entire music library. You may also find this feature useful if you want to listen to forgotten tracks in your library or discover songs you haven't listened to yet. Disabling the shuffle feature will return playback of a song list to its standard consecutive order. You can enable and disable the shuffle feature at any time.

Navigate to the main menu. Select "Settings." Scroll to the "Shuffle" option. Select "Songs" or "Albums." If you select "Songs," the iPod Classic will shuffle the songs on whatever song list you listen to. If you select "Albums," the iPod Classic will play all songs of an album you select in order and then randomly select another album. Navigate to the playlist or album to which you want to listen. Play a song to initiate the shuffle. b> iPod Nano and iPod Touch Tap the "Songs" icon on your nano home screen. If you are using an iPod Touch, open the "iPod" application. Navigate to the song list, playlist or album you want to play. Tap the "Shuffle" icon at the top of the list to activate the feature.

How to Fix an iPod Shuffle That Won't Turn On

Things You'll Need:

* iPod Shuffle iPod USB cable Power adapter

The iPod Shuffle is the smallest member of Apple's line of MP3 players. During the device's lifetime, you may find that the iPod freezes or seems to not turn on anymore. Since the iPod Shuffle does not have a display attached to it, you cannot be notified of any device errors. However, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to repair your iPod.

Instructions

Plug the iPod USB cable into the iPod Shuffle and then connect it to the power adapter to recharge the iPod's battery. The iPod Shuffle may not be turning on because its battery has fully drained.

Move the button on the back of the iPod Shuffle to the "off" position.

Wait five seconds with the iPod in "off" mode before switching the device back on. This process will reset the iPod Shuffle memory.

Connect the iPod Shuffle to your Mac or PC computer if it still will not turn on.

Open the iTunes program and sync your iPod with your computer. When you unplug your iPod from your computer, it should turn on normally again.

Hope it helped.

Have a nice day.

2 problems: recorded music breaking up/how to delete one track?

Hi! Some tracks are breaking up because they are not in mp3 or aac format(Only audio formats supported by ipod). While some tracks are converted by itunes others can't so, downloading a wma to mp3 or aac converter will surely help. You have to first change the format of the songs(from CD) by converting them into mp3 (or aac) format. Then sync these songs into ipod. Deleting any track from itunes library will automatically delete that track from the ipod. You can download that converter from the link-

Cant get shuffle to work when not conected to pc

How long have you had the unit? If it's been a year and a half or 2 years your battery needs to be replaced. They loose their ability to retain a charge in that time frame, and when you test a good battery or a bad battery they will both read 3.6v as a tester does not put a load on the battery, meaning you have 3.6v when the unit is off but when it turns on (load) it drops to zero. You could also try resseting the unit, to do so follow these instructions. To reset iPod shuffle: Disconnect iPod shuffle from the computer (if connected). Move the switch on the back of iPod shuffle to the off position. Tip: When iPod shuffle is off, the green stripe by the switch is not visible. Wait 5 seconds. Move the switch on the back to the play in order or the shuffle position. The green stripe will be visible in either position. iPod shuffle is now reset. If after resetting iPod shuffle you are going to attach it to your computer, be sure to place the switch in the off position. If you were resetting as part of some troubleshooting steps, continue with those steps now. For general troubleshooting steps see the iPod shuffle troubleshooting and service FAQ. SOFTWARE

Make sure there isnt an upgrade with the software. Sometimes software is also tracked as to who & how many times its installed. Its just protection for the manufacturer in order to track how many users are using that product. It can track on profit losses,or further security measures needed etc. Btw, have you tried to install any other programs on your computer w/out any problems..if so, is this the only one you've had problems with? If you had issues with your computer..there might be a new one..just making sure to cover all basis for yah! Cheers, Cammykins.
