I burned a disc of music but doesn't play on my Panasonic CD Stereo System.

Some players are like that! You need to experiment with different makes and speed settings when recording!

States no disc when disc is in unit and will not play

Welcome to Fixya

Lens might be dirty that is why it is giving the unit hard time to read the disc. Try to use a cd cleaner first to clean the lens.

Thank you for using Fixya!

The CD player is not recognizing my CD disc. It states the CD drive is empty even though all 3 have the disc in.

If you already tried it with a known good clean cd, try using lense cleaner. If that do not work you are out of luck because that means the laser assembly is defective already, and replacing that is very difiicult, whats more they are an expensive part, costing anywhere from 50 to over a hundred bucks. Lastly they are hard to find for a particualr model.

Tray B of my RCA CD Burner does not recognize any CDs

Are you using the correct disc type??

The manual states that only discs that are labeled:

"Compact Digital Audio Disc Recordable" (Audio CDR)

*or*

"Compact Digital Audio Disc Rewritable" (Audio CD-RW) can be used.

The popular discs labeled "Compact Recordable" and Compact Disc "Rewritable" are for use in computers, and can NOT be used on the recorder.

Page 16 of the manual shows the graphic of the logos detailed above. The manual can be downloaded for free below:
