Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV

WD-52725 Timer light is blinking and will not stop.

I have read in another post that the DM part # 934C116002 is bad and needs replaced I have tried to locate this part on the web with out any luck. Can someone tell me were I can get this part for my WD-52725 TV.

This part will cost you about 650 to 800 bucks my friend. if you have any soldering skills, and can follow directions, I posted a DM board fix. it may just be four small capacitors. Now this set that was used in the fix is not exactly like all the other Mitsubishi TV sets that still have a DM board, but if you can locate the DM board, follow the rest of the repair. if you do not know how to solder, do not take a chance, as this part is way too expensive to be experimenting around with. Get the Capcitors(there is a link there too for the capacitors)and take the DM board to a service shop, as this should not cost you a lot to have a pro do this for you. More than likey you have bad caps on DM Board.
It willcost about $450 to repair or you can do it yourself,.

On the DM PCB (part # 934C116002) check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 UFD, 16V, 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V,
The DM PCB is on the left hand side of the TV when you take off the back cover.

The green timer lite is blinking and the tv will not turn on. It's a Mitsubishi Medallion we bought about 5 years ago. It has a 64 " screen from corner to corner. This didn't match any option I was given...

You have a couple of problems.

(LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnecting the USB connector from the Card Reader did not help. Remove connector FC from the FMT PCB and plug the unit in, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds with FC removed suspect a problem on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002), if the LED keeps blinking with connector FC removed suspect a problem on the DM PCB (part # 934C116002).

I would not attempt to do this on your own! Call an Autorized Service Center, it wikll cost at least $ 750.

The timer light won't stop blinking - the tv wont go on at all -- I have unplugged it for a week and then tried plugging back in and it just blinks. I have tried the reset nothing will make it stop...
You need the V26 Chassis DLP DM repair kit available at the following link. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and CD with full instructions on how to do the repair .Its listed under the mitsubishi repair kits category

No digital inputs on the menu
Initialize settings by pressing "menu, 2, 4, 7, 0 enter" after settings have been initialized press the system reset button on the front once the LED stops blinking, reprogram the netcommand and tuner settings. 2. (Initialization and reset does not help) Suspect the DM PCB part # 934C116002
