Hello, Altrough I am not experienced with this particular model you may try the following method. First back up all your data on the internal memory of your device. This will allow you to restore contacts, programs or other data after you perform a master reset. Save the backup file to a memory card or another external storage device. Then hard reset the pda, to restore it to the factory settings. After this is done, install the program (google maps) after the pda's initial setup (wich occurs after the hard reset). Now check to see if the program works. If not, the logical assumtion would be that the program wasn't clearly designed for this pda model. Please notice that altrough all these devices run Palm OS, the actual operating system is different in order to fit each model's hardware specification. So it isn't like windows xp for example, wich can run on any computer, regardless of it's manufacturer or hardware components. If the program fails to work after all of this, you can either wait to see if google comes up with a patch to the program or a newer version that includes your pda in the suported devices list. Meanwhile you should use the backup you just made to restore the device to it's previus state. Please come back with a reply if this fails to work. Good luck.

I heard that the new iPhone 5 does not include the Google Maps application, but instead uses Apple's new version? Is this correct?

Yes it is. Apple decided to replace one of its most useful applications, Google Maps with its own version, Apple Maps. Compared to Google Maps, Apple maps display much less information like certain street names, street directions, and subway stops. Moreover, Apple Maps does not have the street view feature that Google Maps has. It should be noted that Apple Maps is a brand new application and will certainly change for the better in time.

HI,

You shall do the same with MPF. Create a regex filter to identify the types of files you would like to block,

e.g. 1
2
3
4
5 regex archive-type1 ".*\.([Zz][Ii][Pp]'[Tt][Aa][Rr]'[Tt][Gg][Zz]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex archive-type2 ".*\.([Tt][Aa][Rr].([Gg][Zz]'[Bb][Zz]2)'7[Zz]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex doc-type1 ".*\.([Dd][Oo][Cc]'[Xx][Ll][Ss]'([Pp]){2}[Tt]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex doc-type2 ".*\.([Pp][Dd][Ff]'[Oo][Dd][Tt]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex exe-type1 ".*\.([Ee][Xx][Ee]'[Vv][Bb][Ss]'[Vv][Bb][Aa]) HTTP/1.[01]"
Create regex for Content-Type Application/*

1
2 regex application-header "application/*"
regex content-type "Content-Type"
Classify regex that matches the extension types
class-map type regex match-any ext-types
match regex doc-type1
match regex doc-type2
match regex archive-type2
match regex archive-type1
match regex exe-type1

Capture the http response that contains content-type and application/* header
2
class-map type inspect http match-all http-header-response
match response header regex content-type regex application-header
Capture http request packet that matches the class ext-types
1
2 class-map type inspect http match-all http-request
match request uri regex class ext-types

HTTP is the interesting traffic
1
2
3
4 access-list http-traffic extended permit tcp any any eq www
access-list http-traffic extended permit tcp any any eq 8080
class-map http-traffic-class
match access-list http-traffi

Create policy to prevent download attempt via http request

4
5
6
7 policy-map type inspect http block-http-download
parameters
protocol-violation action drop-connection log
class http-header-response

No maps found

When your tom tom comes up with the no maps found error message. There are several causes to the problem.
If you updated your map using the latest map guarantee and then get the error No maps found, make sure you install the latest version of the TomTom application.
Check for the latest application: Connect your navigation device or memory card to your computer and click Update my device in TomTom HOME to check if a new application is available.
You can check the version of your application in TomTom HOME. Connect your device and then click Manage my device and select the Items on my device tab. Expand Applications and then click More info.
Your map may require the latest version of the TomTom application.
Check for the latest application Connect your navigation device or memory card to your computer and click Update my device in TomTom HOME to check if a new application is available.
HOME may not immediately offer the latest application version when installing a downloadable map on a blank memory card. Re-connect your memory card to HOME and check for the latest application by clicking Update my device in HOME. HOME this time offers the latest application for your device. Try Installing maps on a new memory card
You can check the version of your application in TomTom HOME. Connect your device and then click Manage my device and select the Items on my device tab. Expand Applications and then click More info.
You need to also make sure all files are in the right places. Browse the content of your navigation device:
Windows XP: Click Start > My Computer and then double-click the removable drive of your device.
Windows 7 / Windows Vista: Click the Windows start button > Computer and then double-click the removable drive of your device.
Mac OS X: Double-click the desktop icon of your navigation device.
Check the following:
The map folder (e.g. Western_Europe) needs to be located in the root directory of your navigation device or memory card. This means the map folder may not be inside another folder. Before you move the map folder we recommend that you create a manual backup.
The map folder needs to contain at least the following files
cline.dat cname.dat cnode.dat faces.dat mapinfo.dat poi.dat tables.dat tmccodes.dat traffic.dat .meta (map v705 or higher will have/need this file) .meta.dct (map v705 or higher will have/need this file) .pna
If any of these files are missing restore a previously made backup or re-install your map to your device (in TomTom HOME click Add Traffic, Voices, Safety Cameras etc. > Items on my computer).
Hpe this was helpful. Thanks for using fixya.

Skype application not opening, stuck on java logo screen

Instead of attempting to load Skype on your phone you may want to consider downloading Nimbuzz. It works just like Skype - is free to use - and seems to have better results.

It combines all your buddies from Skype, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, Google Talk and more.

To get Nimbuzz simply go to this link and type in your phone number and the program will be sent to your phone.

Nimbuzz, click here: http://tiny.cc/jYC6s
