Bought house with MarGas Custom 36 Firesplace Stock #794015, Model MGC36SPNGCF and the previous owner tookk the log set. I need a new log set but the company Marco Mfg is out of business. Please tell me where I can buy this log set for this gas fireplace

  • Anonymous Nov 14, 2012

Our fireplace is a Marco Gas fireplace. It has special logs that are placed on a grate. I've been told that I cannot use any other type but what was made for this fireplace. I need to know where I can purchase them. The manual gives me a replacement parts list. what I need is the grate, cross log, back log and front log. Everything else works fine.

I'm not sure what else I can tell you. I'm looking for the grate and log set for the above mentioned fireplace. there must be a supplier that can replace the above mentioned items. If the the business is out of business they they sell the parts to another compan? What else do you need to know. I have given you the information from the manual for Marco Gas Fireplace.

Dan Webster's pilot fix worked. Pilot now is blue and stays lit. Main burner still does not fire, so next step is new thermocouple.

This an easy fix. What you must do is remove the dust from the pilot safety. I use rust buster from ace hardware to gently flush the hole. If ther is no hole just shoot a tiny drop or 2 into the pilot burner where the flame comes out. Blow it out (I use a piece of tubing). The problem is the dust drops the pilot flame to a point where it won't heat the thermocouple hot enough to jold the magnet and after 30 minutes she quits. THIS is a picture of where to clean the ODS pilots in your rig.

I have a Model 792864B. Before you attempt to light the pilot light - make sure that any wall control switch or remote control for the fireplace is in the off position. Locate the gas supply line. There should be a gas supply valve to turn on the gas supply. The valve is usually painted a different color than the supply line like blue, green or yellow. Open the valve by pivoting the handle to be parallel to the gas line, usually counter-clockwise. When it is closed it is at a 90 degree angle from the supply line. Locate the pilot light assembly - this is the pilot light. There should also be a red or black ignitor button and a black or green valve control knob with the words "on" "off" and "pilot" on it. It may be located inside a black box, mine is marked heatolator, that has a lift off top. Lift off the top of the box. Push in the valve control knob and turn it until the word "pilot" is in line with the arrow (my arrow is red) or indicator line. While pressing and holding in the valve control knob - it presses in about 1/4", press the red or black ignitor button repeatedly (once per second) until the pilot ignites. Once the pilot is lit, continue to hold the valve knob in for about 30 seconds and then slowly release. The pilot should remain lit. If it remains lit, press in and turn the valve control knob to the "on" position. The on/off wall or remote control switch should now light your fireplace. If the pilot doesn't ignite, turn off gas supply valve, wait about 5 minutes and try it again.

I bought a car with a kenwood kvt 715dvd the battery went dead an now its asking for a password but i dont kno it how would i reset my kenwood kvt 715dvd/cd player

Did you look online or do you have a owners manuel? There is usually a factory set password such as 1-2-3-4 etc, unless you purchased it second hand and the previous owner custom set - then you have to contact the previous owner or Kenwood. Most people dont change the factory passwords. TRY KCAR (5227 ON A KEYPAD) uf that doesnt work read the forum post on: ecoustic.com. Good Luck

I have Printmaster 10 and 17. On 10, I can print to the edges of the labels and others things, on 17 I can't. I know that I reconfigured 10 to do this, but it was years ago and I can't remember the step...

Custom Paper Wizard PrintMaster® 17 Gold and Platinum include a Custom Paper Wizard that allows you to add new or unsupported paper stock to PrintMaster® for printing labels, stickers, envelopes, half-fold greeting cards, note cards, business cards and postcards. The remainder of this note describes how to use the Custom Paper Wizard. Follow the procedure below to add a new or unsupported paper stock to PrintMaster® 17 Gold or Platinum using the Custom Paper Wizard.

NOTE: The options that appear in the Custom Paper Wizard vary depending on the project type for which you are creating new paper stock.
  1. In the PrintMaster® Design Workspace, click Tools from the menu bar, select Custom Paper Wizard and click New Custom Paper. The Custom Paper Wizard window will open.
  2. In the Select Stock Type: list box, select the appropriate project type (Label, Sticker, Business Card, Envelope, 1/2-Fold Greeting Card, Note Card or Postcard) and click Next.
  3. If creating a Label or Sticker paper stock, select the label type. An example of the selected label type will appear on the right.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the screen that appears, select the similar stock type and enter the paper height, width and margins (if instructed to do so).

NOTE: The Example box at the bottom of the Custom Paper Wizard window will explain what information is needed for the selected field (e.g., Paper Width, Left Margin, etc.) with both text and a diagram. The Example box on the left side of the Custom Paper Wizard window will show an example of the new paper stock as the fields are completed.

  6. Depending on the paper stock, the "Contains mid-page perforation" box may be active. If the paper stock that is added has a mid-page perforation, click once in the empty box to check it.
  7. Enter a Name for the new paper stock in the Name of stock: field and click Next. This name will identify the added stock type and will appear when creating a new project (e.g., Label, 1/2-Fold Greeting Card, etc.).

NOTE: If adding a new paper stock for an Envelope project type, click Finish. A message will appear indicating that the new stock has been added. Click OK. The new envelope paper stock can be used when creating a new Envelope project.

  8. The next screen or screens that show will depend on the project type for which the new paper stock is added. Enter the needed information and click Finish. A message will appear stating that the new paper stock has been added.
  9. Click OK.
  10. To access the new paper stock, create a new project that uses the stock type (Label, 1/2-Fold Greeting Card, etc.) and select the name of the new stock entered in Step 7 (above) from the available stock list.
NOTE: If the paper stock that is added does not display in the list, click or go to Custom Paper Stock Does Not Display (Technical Note ID: 43399) for additional information.
