Brought home the Swann DVR 8 model (the manual says 8/16 so I am guessing they are similar) and the video image from the camera disappears. It correctly captures the video image and displays it on screen (I just have one camera hooked up) for about 50-60 seconds just fine. Then all of a sudden it starts getting fuzzy, fades out and gives me a "No Input" message on the screen and some static and blue. I have restarted the system several times now and it just repeats...switched cables and it did the same thing...Any ideas what is going oh here?

SOURCE: regarding dvr4-net-plus, video output is
Hello,
The graphic settings is the cause of this. The display on the monitor has to be on either NTSC or PAL depending on your area/location.
Also after starting the DVR, you must ensure that the DVR's input video (NTSC/PAL) and your TV/Monitor (NTSC/PAL) are both set to the same standard.
If they are not set to the same standard, that is, if the DVR is set to PAL and TV/monitor is set to NTSC, this can cause the video out put to have constant horizontal line.........
So make sure both video output are the same....
I hope you understand the above.
Good luck.
