Question about Whirlpool 24 in. DU1055XTP Built-in Dishwasher
Our porwer went out on the block just after dishwasher was started when power came back on the clean light is flashing and all book says is to check heater ciruit. What do i look for and how do i check it thanks
I don't know if your dishwasher is the same as mine, but this solution may be what you need. For electronic panel dishwashers made by whirlpool (mine is a whirlpool but with a kenmore name on it), some of them can be reset by pushing in sequence the Heated-Dry button followed by the Normal-Wash button, several times in a row. that is... Push Heated-Dry, then Normal-Wash, Then Heated-Dry, then Normal-Wash... Repeat until all lights light up. When all lights light up you can stop. The washer will then take 5-10 minutes to go through a diagnostics cycle, which is about 18-25 steps or so. You can bypass one step at a time by pushing the STart button. This may not apply to your washer, but is pure gold if it does. Good Luck!

I have a whirl pool GU2548XTPQ3 having the same problem, not sure about the power outage. Push Heated-Dry, then Normal-Wash, Then Heated-Dry, then Normal-Wash... Repeat until all lights light up to reset the unit worked great for me

Clean light flashes when cycle is interrupted. Push clean button again, or cancel wash and restart.

Hi,
The scum, film and white
residue problems have started since the reduction of
phosphates in dishwasher detergents.
Here is a tip that
will help you to solve the problem of films, residue, and scum in
your dishwasher.

We had this same problem and your solution worked perfectly. We have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner dishwasher.
Thanks!!!
Another success story. Thanks for the great tip!
The reset sequence worked great for my 7 flashing clean light, don't know how you came by that trick, but awesome, thanks.
I have the same problem. Reset, as above, goes through check and then cycles, but has been getting worse in that is goes into this "Clean Light Flashing" mode more frequently.
NO PORWER AND NO LIGHT FLASHING
