Can i connect ipod to technics hifi?

yes you need to buy an ipod coonector that has the rca plugs at the other end - plug the cable end into the auxiliary ports on the rear of the amp processor unit, then connect the ipod as normal but switch the out put selector to aux and you clan play your ipod through the speakers. one thing this wont charge the ipod while playing

Want to add ipod to existing Nutone IM-3003 system. Don't have installation manual. System has inputs for phono and tape, but not labeled. How can I get ipod to play through intercom (tried FM...

What kind of input jack for tape and phono?
You could make the right cable from the ipod to the tape input with the right adapters or correct cable. You want to use the tape line level input rather than the phono preamp input. I am assuming you don't need an external preamp for the phono input.
I have seen this unit on EBay with a 1/8 inch plug added as a mod for ipod or other mp3 input. I image they just connect to the tape input leads and drill a hole for the 1/8 input jack. Then you just need a 1/8 inch cable to go from the ipod to the intercom.
There are dealers that can do the upgrade if you don't have the schematics. some of the upgrades are really over the top.
you can get the manual online at PDF heaven.

I was wondering how do I play music through my iPhone with this cd player. I have a direct cable but I'm not sure what to press to make it play through my cd player. Thank you.

Once you plug in your iphone and set it to play your song(s). Set your car player for AUX this will then pick up the device playing into the direct port. Hope this helps Fix ya up.

How to set it to play with and Ipod

After researching your model DEH-P470MP, it appears that to use an iPod, you need an adapter that plugs into the rear port of the unit intended for a multi-cd changer connection.
If you have one installed and it's not working, I would check the connection on the unit. Make sure the cable is firmly seated in the port and then check the cable and also check for any fuse in the line to make sure it's not blown out.
Also some of the earlier models of ipod adapters aren't compatible with the newer generations of ipods. There are aftermarket adapter plugs that will allow your ipod to charge/play off these earlier decks/adapters.

Help with ipod connection to cd player

You must use 1 of 3 methods to connect your iPod
1. FM modulator to wirelessly broadcast on a low FM band
2. iPod 3.5mm male/male direct connect cable.
3. iPod USB connection - with Pioneer iPod adapter module.

The direct connect 3.5mm port is on the back of the unit. One plugs into the radio - one plugs into the iPod headphone port.

Ipod vido out

Using the iPod AV Cable
Step 11Use the Apple iPod AV cable. This plugs into the RCA ports on your TV or VCR. This is by far the easiest method. Step 22Connect the AV cable into your iPod. Plug the small end into the iPod where the earbuds would go. Step 33Connect the red RCA plug. This goes into the right audio input of the television or VCR. The colors should match. Step 44Connect the white RCA plug. This plugs into the left audio input of your TV. Connect the yellow RCA plug. This goes into the video input of your TV. Step 55Begin playing a video on the iPod.
