Formatting mode/trash can icon

I have a Z740 and the trash can icon keeps popping up how can I solve this problem it does it in all modes? I know that this is formatting mode and that it does delete everything. I have tried all things includung changing batteries to make sure that they are charged to even putting a memory card in. I don't remember the camera doing this when I bought it over two years ago. What am I doing wrong?

I can't send or receive picture messages on my Radiant Z740 Go Phone Why not?

Did it stop sending/receiving or did you just get the phone recently, having popped your sim card from a non-smart phone into the Z740?
If so, you will need to purchase a data plan from your phone carrier in addition to your phone service. If this is not the case ...
Tap messaging icon
Tap the far far right function button at the bottom of the phone
Choose Settings
Check mark Auto-retrieve
MMS Creation mode = Free
Enable WAP push recieving
With those basic settings you should be able to recieve and send. If you have a data plan. If you have a plan you should conact customer service with your carrier. The number for customer service should be displayed on the same settings page.

Screen and view finder not showing anything

Just covering the bases...
Make sure the lens cap is removed
Turn the ON/OFF switch to Favorite mode
Press EVF/LCD does it toggle
Look to see if the battery level ICON shows better then half
Battery combination sometimes will show a strong icon level
It may be strong in the other modes which draws less power then the picture taking mode.
My guess would be New Battery replacement.
Some tests were done that may be of value to your solution

How do i delete songs off of my mp3?

Hi there. There are 2 ways to delete songs from your Sansa E260: By browsing the folders containing the songs, or by formatting the player. To browse the player, it's important to know first that the player has 2 modes: MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) and MSC (Mass Storage Class). Music files saved on one mode would not be seen in the other mode when browsed through Windows Explorer. You can switch modes by navigating your E260's menu using the following: Menu >> Settings >> USB Mode Next, plug your player in your PC and open Windows Explorer. You should first set your Explorer to "Show hidden Files and Folders" by going to the "Tools" menu (located on menu lists on Windows Explorer window), then choosing "Folder Options", then enabling the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" radio button Deleting Music files under MTP Mode: 1. Your player should appear as a Sansa E260 icon in Explorer as a "Portable Audio Device". Double left-click this icon to browse the player. 2. You'll find a "PPI NAND" sub-folder. Again, double left-click on this sub-folder. 3. You'll find a series of sub-folders, one of which should be titled "Music". Double left-click this to open it. 4. Your music should appear as individual files or folders. Delete this to remove the file(s) from the player Deleting Music files under MTP Mode: 1. Your player should appear as a Drive letter and entitled either as a "Removable Drive" or as "Sansa E260" 2. Double left-click on this drive letter to browse the player 3. You may find your music files immediately on this folder, or you'll find a series of sub-folders, one of which should be titled "Music". Double left-click this to open it and view your music files. 4. Delete the music files you want, and they should be removed from the player Deleting files through Format: 1. Formatting the player erases all files in the player, and oftentimes this is the best option to ensure that all files are removed and any corruption eliminated. Also, it is best to format the player when in MSC mode. 2. When the appears as a drive letter (under MSC mode), right-click on that drive letter and select "Format". On the "Format" pop-up window, click "Start" to begin the format process. 3. Follow the on-screen prompts and safely remove the player from your PC when the "Format Complete" display appears. 4. Unplug the player from the PC and when the player is powered up, the message "No Files" should appear on the player's LCD screen 5. Switch the mode back to "MTP", or continue to use "MSC". Note: It is best to use "MTP" when you are transferring subscription music to the player I hope this helps. :)

Happened to me when i put the SD/LD icons into the trash (mac osx) before I hit the first 'turn off drive mode' page rather than hitting 'turn off' button, then trashing the icons, then hittinf turn of drive mode button. Is this in the manual....nope!
