Chances are your phone got too hot during the night and overcharged the Lithium Ion battery. If those batteries are exposed to too much heat then they won't have the battery life they used to have. You need to purchase a replacement battery or contact your wireless carrier to see about getting another one.

You will burn out your alternator if you keep on doing this. The alternator is not a charger. If you have a dead battery you should always charge it overnight on a charger. To keep the battery fresh all that you have to do is disconnect the terminals.Yes this is normal because the car has clocks and alarms that drain power even when the key is off. If you let the battery set to long while it is drained it will not take a charge.

I keep changing the battery on the motorola V220 and it dont last long before it dies or the phone kills it.

My husband had a problem with the battery on his phone running down really fast, he read somewhere if you let it go completely dead the put it in the freezer for 24 hours it will hold the charge longer. Sounds crazy I know but it worked for him.

Battery Too Dead to Charge?

It might be because its an old battery. I had a phone for 3 years and everytime I took it off the charger maybe 20 minutes later it'd be down a bar or two. You should try taking it to the place you bought it and ask them.

Hope this helped

After fully charging my Motorola H700 all night, it loses its charge after an hour or two. When I plug it back in, the green light comes on in seconds. What's up with that?

seems some components inside your phone has shorted out. overnight charging is not recommended for it could cause overheating of the components of your phone which in time develops shorts.shorts , of course consumes rapidly the charge of the battery and it damages the battery also. have your phone diagnosed and fixed. next time if possible, remove the phone from the charger when it fully charged.

If the battery is charged, you should just need to hold down the red (end call) key for a few seconds and the phone should power up.
