Plug the camera into the computer using the USB cable.
Open My Computer. There will be a new drive listed there, that is your camera. Open the drive, your photos will be in folders -- just save them to your My Picures (or whatever folder).
It is possible, if you have autorun enabled, that you will get a wizard open when you plug in the USB cable-- you can also just follow the choices there as to how you want the computer to handle your photos. Hope this helps.
I'm not familiar w/ the S3100 but do you see any corrosion in the battery terminals? These camers don't usually just quit working. If the terminals are clean, what battery are you using? How many mA or milliAmpere rating? These are usually indicated on the rechargable battery's sides. There are some new battery in the market. The eveready silver colored battery. I forgot the name. It is one notch above the regular alkaline battery. Let me know if this helps.
For Angelbabys and Rflenon, I suggest you get a card reader and copy the pictures to your computer. Then go to Fuji's website to see if you need a new driver to re-install your camera. I'm guessing the problem is software based and not hardware. So you can try to update your drivers or installation softwares at this website:
If this is the second card to fault this does suggest a camera write/read problem.
Contact Fuji tech support with this, there may be an on going issue. Also if the camera is young a 'swap out service may be possible if it out of warranty.
