Usually the turning longer than usual means the laser is having a hard time reading the disc. See if the same disc will work in another cd player, if its not the disc try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaning disc. ER (error) usually means a> the disc is unreadable or b> the laser is dirty or inoperable

CD player displays error code: ER-1

That error code means an unknown error has occurred. Try cleaning the player itself, along with the CD's prior to insertion to see if that helps.

CD player displays error code: ER-1

The ER-1 code signifies an unknown error. Try cleaning the player itself, as well as cleaning the individual CD's prior to inserting them.

If that doesn't remedy the issue, ask for further help.

We just had the regrigerator installed today. It was cooling and then we put the food back in and shut the doors and the readout now on the display where the temperature is says ER and CF. The water does...

If the unit was just installed you would call for service. Error Code Er CF -The unit will receive signals from the BLDC fan motor in the freezer compartment during normal operation. If more than 65 seconds pass without a signal from the fan motor, an "Er CF" error message will be displayed. The Cooling Motor Error is usually an indication of a faulty fan motor or loose leads. Customer service should be contacted immediately. IF you have any further questions message me back Thanks Rick

Jensen Personal CD Player Model CD-60 won't play cds. It starts and then shows "ER " message. I've put in fresh batteries - no change. Appreciate your help, thanks so much!

Hi,
Have you try a Cleaning Disk. Maybe you can use a compress air can (usually sell in pc/electronics stores) and clening up the laser lens. Check for dirty on discs, water drops or scratches. Try another CD
Hope this help.

Put a CD in and get message that says ER (Error?)...every CD that goes in spins, but does not play.

could be one of 2 things
use a cd lens cleaner to clean the laser lens .
or could be warped or damaged cds and player wont play them
also if they are burnt cd the player may be to old to read them.
