Doorlock light keeps flashing.

Possibly door lock needs replacing

Power on, press the start button for 5 or 6 seconds, the sign will go off. Try the door gently.

either doorlock faulty, Pcb faulty or door handle ****** not springy enough to engage the doorlock...

doorlock light flashing normally represents a door not closed. If it is closed properly, then latch needs to be replaced.

hi we have a whirlpool awo3761/5 when wash is selected it goes to start but then doorlock flashes a nowt happens, i have just replaced with new doorlock this morning and with fingers crossed tryed again it looked promising but doorlock started to flash again and nothing happens pls pls help

these machines will do this if the timer dial has been moved during a cycle, they have a memory chip on the main circuit board.

they also do this if the machine has a fault with the exception that they dont stop, the doorlock light flashes and the timer just keeps clicking.

try setting the timer to a dot on the settings then switching the power on, the doorlock light will flash a few times, turn off again select program then switch back on, machine should now be reset and work ok, if not then count the flashes of the doorlock light as this indicates a fault code.

sounds like there is a fault on the machine, when the timer starts clicking the doorlock light will flash a number of times, you will need to count these flashes as this will give an indication of the fault.

red doorlock light on, wont do anything,

I have to unplug so it will shut off,

when I plug in and hit start, red light stays on again,
