Hoover washing machine not spinning

My washing machine is washing the clothes but not spinning. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Cheers

My Hoover 700 LA Top loading washer does not spin dry clothes after the was cycle ? The drum does not spin fast enough for the clothes to dry out as before.

Have a look for coins etc stuck in the drain pump or the tub outlet hoses especially where they fit onto the tub. If a coin or other foreign material blocks the water flow when draining , these machines wont spin properly.

Check the drain, it seems that unit is clogged. Some models have an access door for easy removal of lint and foreign objects.

Hoover aaa1600 front loading washing machine marks on clothes
check the inlet hose screens by shutting off the water and unscrewing the hoses at the machine. Sedimet is trapped in the screen reducing water flow.
