If you press the power button and hold until the blue light stays on the set is then in find mode, at this point use your phone to search for new devices and when it finds it it will see the HS820 and probably ask for a pin number this is 0000, when they are paired the blue light will flash and then flash intermitently from then on.
sorry, forgot to add;to turn it off press and hold for 3 seconds, the light flashes 3 times, then turns off.sorry, forgot to add;to turn it off press and hold for 3 seconds, the light flashes 3 times, then turns off.

When device is in pairing mode (device on, long press "talk" button until LED is steady blue), long press the "up" button until the LED blinks twice. Then search it on the second phone and pair it. Turn HS off, then on.
Pairing Instructions
Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as your Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth headset.
Ensure that the headset is off (see Turning the headset on/off).
Press and hold the Multi-Function button until the indicator light turns on in blue (approximately 8 seconds).
Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the headset by following your phone's guide. Typically, the steps involve going to a Setup, Connect, or Bluetooth menu on your phone and then selecting the option to discover Bluetooth devices.
Your phone will find the Samsung WEP210 headset and ask if you want to pair with it. Confirm this by pressing the Yes or OK key.
Enter a passkey or PIN, 0000 (4 zeros), then press the Yes or OK key.
You have to go in to the blue tooth option on the menu of the p2. Then click search. Hit the sync button on the headset. It should find it in less than 20 seconds.
In standby mode, press Menu. Highlight Applications and click Select. Highlight Bluetooth and click Select, or just press 4. Highlight My devices and click Select, or just press 2. Put
your remote device into pairing mode. You can find out how to do this
from the manual that came with the device. When the device is in
pairing mode, highlight Search new device and click Select. If Bluetooth is not activated on your G600, you'll be prompted to switch it on. Click Yes. The
G600 will search for all the Bluetooth devices in the proximity. The
type of device will be indicated by the icon to the left of it, so you
can clearly see if the device is a PC, a phone or a remote headset. You'll
be asked to enter the PIN number to connect to the device. This is in
the documentation that came with the remote device but if in doubt, try
1234 or 0000, as these are the most common PINs. Once connected, the device's icon will turn orange on the My devices screen, and when you press the red End call key to return to standby mode, you'll see the headphone icon on the top row of the screen. Your
headset will now be paired permanently with your G600. Switch the
device off to disconnect it, and next time you switch it on the phone
will connect automatically, providing your Blueooth is activated (go to
Menu, Applications, Bluetooth, Activation, On to activate Bluetooth).
My apologies for the copy past guide, I have never used a samsung phone.
There actually is a trick to the HS850 - flip the boom closed, then
hold down the button just until the light holds solid - IMMEDIATELY
after it does flip the boom open and this should keep the light solid.
Then on your cell/device search for bluetooth devices - you should be
able to find it now. Passkey for most devices is 0000.
First check your headset pair with other handsets
if ok. your headset is ok. then check your hand set connection is ok.The default password of hs-36w is 0000
thanks quick response solved the problem
