Question about Vtech V.reader Animated E-book System
My daughter has not played her v reader for a while and I had taken the batteries out. Now my son would like to use it. I put new batteries in but it would not even turn on. I tried the 45 sec reset solution that was on this site, it worked until my son turned off the v reader and then once again it would not turn on. I tried to plug it in via the computer (to see if it needed some update) but the v reader would still not turn on. Does anyone have any other solutions? (I have tried 3 sets of new batteries to no avail)
My son has a year old Vtech laptop and I can no longer get sound from it. Have replaced batteries but that has not solved the problem. Can anyone help?

SOURCE: my daughter's mobigo won't turn
Here are some tips to try:
If your product has a "Reset" button, try using that.
Another tip. Try removing all of the batteries and holding down the "ON" button for about 45 seconds. Then replace the batteries (be sure they are fresh) and try your product again

I had the same problem, so I put the SDcard in my camera, formatted it, then put the SDcard back into the reader and I was able to transfer the books.

My sons mobigo I purchased in sept 2011 started doing the same thing 5 months after he got it. I also monitor him when he's using it so I know its not damaged by him. I called mobigo on march 15th 2012 after I discovered best buy wouldn't exchange it for me and they are going to replace it but they say their out of stock in their warehouse so it won't be until late may that it gets replaced. Better than paying another 60$ for a new one though...until then he can just borrow his sissys pink one lol
