My canon s300 will not print and now has a pattern to it's blinking. The pattern is... GREEN ( for about 2 seconds), then ORANGE for 7 blinks that last for about half a second each. Then it starts the cycle again. Can anyone please help. What does this code mean? Thanks
That is the code for a bad printhead (the part that your cartridges go into. It operator replaceable and I beleive it comes with instructions. If not, they are listed on Canon's site. You should be able to get it at any office supply store. I beleive the number is BC-24. That should do it Ed

SOURCE: Canon S300 printer. 7 orange blinks, 1 green. I
According to the manual found here:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=330&modelid=6609
7 orange lights represents a bad print head, and the printer will need serviced or replacement. Since printers are so cheap lately, I would just go shopping. Hope this helps! Thanks!
