Slow graphics in gaming

I purchased an acer aspire 4530, upgraded its memory to 3gig and its O.S. is windows xp serpck2.. i installed games like command and conquer and medal of honor and the games have minimal requirements. but everytime i play, the game performed slow and logged. i tried lowering the graphics ang settings of the game but still thre perfomarce is way beyond my expectations.. can you help me with this problem.. asap.. before i swap this unit..tnx..

thanks for the reply the immediate response.. i cant download the files from the site that you gave me.. can you pls. give me instructions on how to update the drivers and bios.. i'm only a begginer when it comes to computer.. my video card is nvidia 9100m g.. 256mb and its an integrated type. the games that i installed has a minimum requirement of 256ram and 256mb of video card, atlest penium 4 and windows xp compatible.. hope you can help me by teaching step by step process in fixin my problem..

Please make sure the video card driver is updated and also the Bios.

Make sure the ac adapter is connected to the system while you are doing the bios update.

Update these drivers
and let me know if it does not work.
Also please post the system requirements for your games so that I could check whether this laptop will be able to run these games.
Also would like to know do u have an integrated video card or a discrete video card. This is very important when you are trying to play games.

hi use this and update your video card drivers, if you are not able to select the driver try using the automatic driver update listed in the website
tell me your yahoo or gtalk id i can take a remote connection and probably fix your issue as well.

First, altering the BIOS or the system registry is like taking a stroll in a minsfield, nothing good usually come form it. Second, What is running in background that will slow down the system. Disable all processes that are not needed at startup of computer. Also you can open "Task Manager" and end processes that are not needed, for instance "Windows Search" it's a memory hog. I have no idea what is running in background on youd laptop. If you have a program, if not, CCLEANER FREE found here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ Install and use often there are useful TOOLS such as STARTUP where you can disable startup programs that will speed up your laptop. The laptop i used is Acer Aspire 4530 AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.9GHz, 802.11b/g WLAN, 3GB DDR, My problem is: before, i have install a high spec games, it become smooth and don't have a problem when i played...

You may be suffering from low performance due to a lack of resources try turning most of your back ground programs off while playing games.

* The system configuration of Acer Aspire 4720Z PC Notebook is :

160 GB or larger hard disk drive / 5-in-1 card reader / 512 MB or 1GB DDR2 533 MHz DIMM module / Intel Pentium dual-core mobile processor technology T2310 (1 MB L2 cache, 1.46, 533 MHz FSB), Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset.

* Your system have "Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset" graphics accelerator card embedded in the motherboard. Like most of the laptops/notebooks, there is no room for upgrading the graphics card in the motherboard!

* But you can upgrade the RAM upto 2 GB using two DDR2 DIMM memory modules.

* If you want to play 3D games with better performance, switch to Windows XP SP2 and upgrade the RAM!

Graphics card upgrade on Acer Extensa 5230E-901G16Mn laptop

Unfortunately, laptops are generally locked down in terms of graphics cards. The GPU is integrated into the laptop mainboard due to space constraints.

Your only option if tied down to a laptop for any reason would be to purchase a more recent laptop with a specific graphics card in it.

Any discrete (NVIDIA or ATI) graphics card that was manufactured after 2008 should be sufficient to run most games.

If you're looking to play games on more intense graphic settings, your best bet would be to look for laptops with the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M/240M or better, or the ATI Mobility Radeon 4600/5400 or better. Either brand with at least 512 MB of video RAM will work well.

Slow graphics in gaming

You're video hardware starved! For these games (and most i-net games, as well as higher end games), you *must* have a meaty video card! An integrated, on-board video card on the motherboard just will not cut it. Buy the most amt of memory ON the card as you can afford. V-cards are expensive - but expensive for a reason! Try one out - you won't be disappointed.

Playing high graphics games on acer aspire 4315

Check the requirements printed at the back of each game. this will tell you if the game runs. If some game is slow try disabling the antivirus while you run the game, remember to restart antivirus afterward.
Do not use software accelerator, majority of them are useless, some of them carries malaware and viruses.
