Projectors i have a canyo plc-xu70 which i brought secondhand. when i got it home i pluged it in and it powerd up fine but after i turned it off it won,t turn on anymore not even the standby light comes on. does anyone have any suggestions i would be very gratefull thanx.

HI there

Check that your power cable is ok. Best way is by trying a differnt cable. If the problem still shows , you might have to open it up check if the fuse on the powersupply board is ok and then worst case cenario have the powersupply replaced.

I had my sanyo plc xu70 suspended from ceiling.. how do i rotate the image?

1,Turn the projector on,press the Menu botton

2,Press the Left ,Right,Up or Down to find the "Option" .

3,select "ceiling"

4,select "Yes"

Sanyo plc xu115 new bulb wont fire. power light turns green at first but after a few seconds it turns flashing red. the old bulb exploded on this projector.

Could be a burnt capacitor on the circuit board. Replace capacitor if you can determine which one it is. There are only a few.

No electricity goes through my Plc-xu110. it was working perfectly until a current surge b/c someone turn-off the breaker abruptly. In that case what should I do?

1,Check the fans ,whether the fan is running,when you turn on the projector
2,if the fans run, then ,check the lamp or lamp ballast

Hi I have a Sanyo PLC-XP18 projector and it has recently developed a problem. I was watching a film the other night and the projector just cut out. Now when i try and turn the projector on the the fans...

READY light is green when the projector is ready to be switched on
LAMP is dim when the projector is ON, but goes bright when it reverts to STANDBY.

Check that the lamp cover is fully down and the cover switch is activated

How do I change the input from the DVI-I input to the 15

I found the online manual and followed the instructions to set to "auto" input. Everything works fine.
It had been a discouraging ordeal trying to locate a new DVI cable (which came with the projector)
and as it turns out the 15 pin cable works fine. Thank you.
