Can Transfer Pics and music but not video

Whe you connect your Galaxy smartphone to your computer, it should show up in windows explorer. If it doesn't show up after about 30 seconds or so, disconnect, wait about 10 seconds and reconnect.

BTW, It will only show up if there are pics available. If there are no pics, it will not show up.

You cannot do an "upload all" from your phone to a computer. Only pics are uploadable. Some programs with mp3 files have a share or upload feature built into the app. Those files can only be access through the feature that is built into the app. If the app does not have a sharing, upload, or transfer feature (like iTunes), then mp3's cannot be transferred from the phone but can only be downloaded to and deleted from the phone itself.

This issue has been resolved with an easyRip software update.

sure can. You can even download a free program called bitpim from bitpim.org and make your own ringtones, transfer videos, music, pics, ringtones, and more.

well this is what you do:
you need to connect your computer& phone together with a Usb
then on your phonesomething will pop up in your oifcations saying
USB has been connected, you need to click onit and press Mount
then after you"ve done that , something pops up on your pc that has different
things you can do like transfer pictures,music,and etc
you press the one that say's transfer pics
and your done!!

Put your tocco in media device mode when you connect it to the PC and just use windows media player to sync to the device, its a doddle. Forget the Samsung software, its rubbish!

you can use bestbuy digital music store to transfer music and if you want videos then use cinema now.com but make shure it is optomized for the p2. Gotr to costomer service and then lick on already asked questions then click on what devices are compatible with cinemanow and click on the link for the samsung yp p2. Then our golden i already have pirates of the carribbean, spiredman three, and i am legend. Just buy the movie, download it and transfer it to the device through samsung media studio. To download samsung media studio just put in the installation cd and highlight both the music store which you need to transfer music and the samsung media studio and intstall them both. then everything should work

try downloading the program and installing it

or try downloading the firmwire and manually updating your yp - s5

Since no one has answered this yet and I found a solution, I minus well help the people out there. This is how I do it:
1) go to menu
2) go to tools
3) go to USB Mass Storage
This will allow your computer to recognize your phone/card and will open it. I highly recommend transferring all your photos and video to your card instead of your phone memory. This is how you transfer it from your phone to your card:
1) go to menu
2) go to settings
3) go to memory
from here you can gain access to what is on your phone memory and your card memory. From this you can edit where you want to save your pics/videos/sounds to (either phone or card memory) and transfer your media files from your phone to your card or vise versa.
