Improper printing of barcodes

Hi, My zebra tlp 2844 barcode printer is not printing properly. when given a quantity of more than one piece to print it cuts off the barcode and continues it on the next label. I use the bar-one 6.0 lite software with the zebra printer. Does anyone know how adjust the settings from the software do that the barcode prints on one label again?

Recalibrate the label length in the printer(hold feed and power up). from memory bar-one uses the label settings from windows, so go into printers and faxes under control panel and correct the label size

The printer is not feeding the label until the perferated line. it only feeds about an inch and then stops and then feeds another inch. on our other zebra once the feed button is pushed the printer feeds...

Simple yeah. Printer calibration is the problem.

Print intensity settings getting lost

Sorry I don't think there is any system of saving the darkness setting, as it is thermal barcode level printer. It will always give you the save color depending on drum heat.

Hi, I am having Zebra TLP 2844 barcode printer.I have installed the printer in my machine. I have tried to take barcode labels.From application, for each and every label i need to generate the label in PDF...

The TLP2844 can print from any windows application providing the application can use a windows printer driver.
The page size oof the .pdf needs to be the same size as the physical label size.

Send a .txt file (zpl language to COM1) to theTLP 2824-Z.

Help!!! I can not print barcode with DOS-command "copy barcode.txt com1". DOS Version is 6.1.7600. The printer zebra TLP 2844 does not recognize the EPL commands.

Labels not printing properly

El problema es que la impresora tiene diferentes parametros de impresion, de oscuridad o velocidad. Ajustalos para que sean iguales en el print server como en workstation. The problem is that the printer has different printing parameters, or speed or darkness. Adjust to be equal in the print server as workstation.

I have Thermal Zebra Printer TLP2824, I have installed it and

download.....http://www.barcodesinc.com/free-barcode-font/

free barcode font for programs. copy into c:/windows/fonts

it will install into that folder, and just select that font in VB6 application before printing

Zebra TLP2844 does not print the barcode label

Can you print the barcode using the software that come with the printer. Zebra TLP2844 come with basic Designer software. Test whether it's printing the barcode or not.

IF it prints the barcode via its software, then you might be having barcode font problem between your application/os and the printer.

Hi Burgymon,

The font that is used under the barcode will use the last font properties described prior to the barcode in the output. You may want to suppress the human readable option and create a separate text field to display the text version of the barcode contents.
