I have a Kitchen Aid Superba Electric Range that is about 5 yrs old and the digital display has stopped working. all the oven features work but not the display. Is it a board problem or is it possibly an easier, less expensive fix?

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid KESC307 Electric Range oven shuts down unexpectedly

We've seen similar problems due to an intermittent failure in the control board. If you can have it removed we can likely repair it for you.

SOURCE: Kitchen-Aid Electric control panel buttons stopped working

This may sound facetious, so don't get offended.
Did you set your clock to the correct time?
Did you clear any and all preset timers?
If none of that helps you can usually find roaches in the strangest places. If you have no roaches, then moisture and heat are the likely culprits which means that your blister pads are simply worn out. Unfortunately these are coated with graphite and don't last forever, so a timer replacement would be your only option unless your touchpad is separate from your timer.

Oven quit working burners and digital display work fine

Check to see if the coils are properly connected. If so, you may need to replace the thermostat unit, which monitors the actual oven temperature. Hope this helps.

Kitchen Aid Superba Double Oven

Remove the oven from the wall. Remove the rear panel.
The upper and lower ovens have a non-resettable thermal fuse that has blown.
Use a VOM to verify which fuse. After repair use Easy Off, not self clean.

Self cleaning does not work

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

Looking for a part KitchenAid DBL Convetion oven (12 years old)

Are you talking about the oven pan at the bottom of the oven? If so, the part number may be 1059318 and costs about $50. You can find parts for your range at repairclinic.com. Just type in your model number in the search window. There is an extensive pictorial part index with price infomration. Unfortunately, this part did not have a photo with it.

Kitchen aid slide in range - oven stopped working

Wynco, first thing I'd check is whether or not you are getting the 220 volts the unit needs. Find the circuit breaker and turn it off and then back on. This should be a dual or linked breaker. The breakers do corrode and wear out and may need to be replaced.
