Cannot install PrintMaster platinum version 18 on 2of 3 computers

The only solution with this older software that will work is to use a computer (virtual, dual-boot, or true second machine) with an older version of Windows installed. If you have Win7 Pro or Ultimate (or are willing to upgrade to one of these versions), you can create a virtual XP computer for free. Download and install Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft. Install them in order. Then install the XP software in the virtual computer and it will work. (Other virtual computer programs are Parallels and VMWare.) All of the other options will require a licensed version of the older Windows OS. Please note that the virtual computer can't share files directly with the main computer. You'll need to save files to external or removable media (optical media or flash drive, for example) to share them. You can't have a printer installed on both the main computer and the virtual one at the same time. You will be asked to uninstall the printer if you try.

Your other option is to upgrade to PrintMaster Platinum 18.1, see http://www.broderbund.com/ for details, which is compatible with Windows 7. This will import your Printmaster 10 projects.

Check this link for the step by step way in installing this software but this is for 'PRINTMASTER' PLATINUM VERSION 17 but dont worry its just have the same procedure in installing the 'PRINTMASTER' PLATINUM VERSION 18, this is the link

Installing PrintMaster 18 on any computer requires .NET Framework 1.1 to be installed on the hard drive. If NET Framework 1.1 is not installed, it will be installed from thePrintMaster 18 install disk before PrintMaster 18 is installed. If possible download .NET framework 1.1 If .NET Framework 1.1 is not already installed on the computer, the "Program Compatibility Assistant" in Windows 7 will display this message.To continue with the installation, select "Run Program".

my wife has a dell computer with window 7 professional operation sistom and i have printmaster platinum 10 only for Windows 95/98/200 NT 4 how i cann install this program in the new computer?

May have to uninstall it first, then reinstall it.

Click START button, lower left corner
then click Control panel
then click on add or remove programs

*see if your product is listed(may be under BRODERBUND or other publisher name)
If it IS listed, uninstall it

Or sometimes the UNINSTALL is included in the CD options:
Insert the cd into the drive
go to my computer
find the cd drive
right-click the drive
select "explore"
Look for an Uninstall program

You might have a problem with your CD/DVD drive. Try inserting the CD in another computer. If the files are shown, replace your CD/DVD drive or just add another CD drive to an empty bay of your computer.

maybe this disk drive is only compatible with diffrent computers
turn over the disk drive should be information there

downgrade too XP 10 is not compatible with Vista
