Garmin c330 I downloaded an "update" via USB port... it went through all the paces and seemed to follow the protocols... however, now the StreetPilot is frozen with the message "LOADER Loading" on the screen... I can't even shut it off... which is one of the bad things about running on battery - you sometimes have to wait for them to die. Any suggestions?? Jim

    ok - since you asked... I downloaded the manual in PDF format and found out how to locate the reset button behind the front screen frame. Like I said... really simple

Register your Garmin at MyGarmin.com - from here Garmin guides you to download the webbrowser plugin to communicate with your Garmin StreetPilot C330 over a USB cable.

When your Garmin StreetPilot C330 is connected through your webbrowser - it will show compatible map updates. These can be ordered on DVD or downloaded.

Note that downloading the map update will take a very long time and requires at least 5 Gb of disk space on your PC/Mac. The internet connection needs to be fast and stable enough to complete the huge download. Otherwise its better to order the update through DVD.

My Garmin does not connect to sateliyes
Try Raising the antenna and then press the reset button when the C330 is on,this should restore the garmin, then: Make sure the C330 is fully charged and
I would try updating the C330 by connecting to to a usb port on your computer and then downloading Garmin Communicator. If that does not help then try contacting Garmin. I will attach a link to Garmin customer support. thanks for using FixYa

How do I get to the interface option on the garmen c330?
Fairly certain there is no interface option. I've updated the software, I've clicked all the little buttons... We just can't use Spanner to change our USB ports to COM ports and NetStumble. Sucks to be us. We should buy new GPSes, and curse Garmin for our foul luck.

Updated routes
I went into google and asked how do I update my c330 Garmin and it took me to a section there that gives you step by step instructions. Have not tried it yet because my computer will not take dvd's only c.d.'s. Have to have a friend help me out on monday. hope this helps.
