I've posted this problem before but no answer yet, maybe you can help me.
I need to print from a Visual Fox system to a shared Samsung ML-2010 printer. By default in the printer configuration the printer processor is RAW, but the printer blinks (like receiving data) and doesn't start any printing. If I change the printer processor to TEXT the printer does print but it doesn't recognize the especial characters like line feed, carriage return, etc.
The same system works fine with HP printers with RAW printer processor, I don't know why it doesn't work with this Samsung printer. I've installed the latest driver from the vendor but it remains the same.
Thanks a lot for your help

Re: Maybe you can help me with my printer error
I'm not familiar with your Visual Fox system, but from your description it sounds like you are exceeding the printer's memory. Your model only has 8MB RAM and is NOT expandable. Even if your document is less than 8MB, the printer has a lot of overhead it has to deal with. Some printers make better use of memory than others. Your HP printers probably have more memory and/or a better scheme for handling it. You might want to try a VERY small document to see if it prints.
I know this doesn't FIX your problem, but hopefully it will help solve the mystery.

White lines means some of the print head nozzles maybe blocked. Try the deep clean print head cycles then do a test print. If this still does not fix the problem then a new print head is required. Print heads are expensive and if your printer is old then maybe better to put your money towards a new printer.
You may have blocked print head nozzles. Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles. After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required. A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.
This can be caused by a bad driver or the printer itself is going bad. But eitherway, you should get an error message either from the printer or from the computer where you are trying to print. Post the error here. We will be more than happy to post the resolution.
hi, look at this post maybe can solved your problem not all Error E3 means your printer part damage but maybe somethings inside it that makes the printer look likes paper jam, Canon MP198 Printer Error E3 is because something inside of the printer that makes paper sensor not function properly. To fix this error E3 you must open inside of the printer to remove the things.
Look at the paper sensor there is must be somethings in it. I found this when my printer Canon MP198 got error E3. I found small part of paper in the sensor that makes sensor not function properly. I just remove the paper and the printer working again.
