I have an Emerson EWF2704 flat screen TV and the picture won't come on. The sound works fine but there is no picture.
The problem with your television appears to be in the high voltage power supply . This power supply supports the high voltage on the anode of the picture tube, and the voltages for the picture tube, and other parts of the TV. If you do not have a background in electronics, might I suggest that you have a TV technician to come to your location and work on the TV. I hope this provides some help Thank you Shuttle83

Hello DEBM,
The problem with your television appears to be in the high voltage power supply or the low voltage power supply. The set tries to come on but the shutdown circuitry turns the TV off. The shutdown circuit is a protective measure put into place to prevent overcurrent and overvoltage conditions by shutting down the TV when these conditions exist. If you do not have a background in electronics, might I suggest that you have a TV technician to come to your location and work on the TV.
I hope this helps
Thabk you,
Shuttle83
