Question about Largan Chameleon Mega Digital Camera

Is there any chance I,m screwed

Is there any way to get my Chameleon xp to work with Vista?

installs by c d . But when camera is pluged in it all goes to blue screen & re boots I have a chameleon X P . It worked on my X P but not on vista .

Assuming the camera works then no problem. If the camera uploaded previously then it it should work just the same with Vista- plug it in and VISTA will find it. If the memory card is removable[Is it?] and you are still in trouble then go buy a cheap card reader,

I received chameleon Mega 1.3 with my dell XP now I have a vista and the camera dosn`t work.

Vista is famous for not supporting peoples devices that worked fine in XP.
It may be time to facing up to getting a Vista compatible camera.
1.3 megapixel cameras are very outdated now, you can get much better cameras for very little cash.

I had the same problem this is what happened on my case
maybe you are trying to open the application with out the camera
try plugging the Camera then open the aplication.
or
if you downloaded the software make sure you have the correct software (on might case I dowloaded the Chameleon Mega Driver instead of the right one)

There is a CD fix you cannot use above Chameleon XP.

There are three Chameleon links (below Chameleon XP) l on the page the first appears to be the driver (no Vista Driver) the second is an unintalller for a couple of OSes the third is for programmers,

There is a user guide and a setup guide on the far right.

Largan chameleon xp driver

I have the drivers and the original CD. I have it installed successfully on XP but am having troubles with it loading on VISTA. The drivers load, but it seems to take forever unloading the pics, I run out of patience before it actually performs the job.

I can't find a driver that actually works! They all say download successful but when I open the program it says device not ready!! Camera says PCC... HELP! I dont have the manual or anything else for the camera, I bought a new USB cable for it. The camera has photos and is in working order, I dont know what else to do.
