Question about Samsung SC-L906 Camcorder
The sound for my Samsung SCL906 is not working when I play back the video. However, when I plugged a headphone with a microphone into the mic jack, it plays just fine. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Samsung L200, cannot play videos on my mac
You need to download a driver for mac in order for it to play the videos. the driver is called xvid. You need to download the one for quicktime. I downloaded it from http://n.ethz.ch/student/naegelic/download/ and downloaded the binary component. I'm sure there are lots of other places that you can download it too if you search. The download gives you a component that you drag into your quicktime folder which is located in the library folder. I just dragged it in and now the videos play in quicktime.

SOURCE: proper audio cable to hook up PC (headphone jack) to 50 in plasma
Hi there..
you just need a 3.5mm standard audio cable, from the green audio port out the back of the computer to the audio in port in the TV :)
can get them from ebay for 99p :)
hope this helps

SOURCE: dvds recorded on video to dvd recorder wont play elsewhere
Mosr DVD recorders have a "compatible" setting or require you to "finalise" the disc. Check that is being done.
It's also worth checking that the laptop will play other DVDs sometimes you need a codec.

The cable that goes from the camcorder to the TV or VCR is a simple one to replace. It's got a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack at one end and RCA's at the other. So all you need is a cord that is designed to let you play an MP3 player through a home stereo, and Radio Shack sells these, as does Wal Mart. The only thing is that one cable will be red and one white, whereas the original had one yellow and one white. Just plug the red plug into the yellow video-in jack on your TV or VCR.

I have the exact same camcorder, I can record video, picture is fine. I can play previously recorded videos and the sound plays fine, but when I record, then play back the video, I get no sound. My warranty is over so I bought the new mic that goes inside the front cover, and I bought and replaced the circuit board that it plugs into, but I still have the same problem. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
