Blaupunkt IDC A09

When I put a CD in the player the CD isn't recognised, I have tried a multitude of CD's in all 5 slots and none of them work. Any suggestions how to resolve this?

I have the same problem, did you get a satisfactory reply?

The CD changer only plays in slot one. When I press slot two to play you can hear the changer and laser trying to load. After an unsuccessful attempt at loading it moves on automatically to slot 3, then 4, then 5, and back to slot one then loads and plays, but with some noise (sometimes), I may add from the player.

Ok guys thius it how it works.

Blaupunkt supply a repair kit for this unit, this basically is a fix. but only works for 8 out of 10units.

its a pain to fit too.

you have to replace the 3 spindle guides and arms. the part number is : 8619001490 there a reall complicated thing to fit.
i am looking to get a install guide sorted. and will soon be selling the kits on my website

The above thread contains a successful use of Creative with Windows 7, keep reading down the page. Other suggestions have been to try Vista drivers rather than XP. And there was the inevitable suggestion to use Windows XP mode on Windows 7 (but not all versions of W7 have XP mode.)

I have a Sony Vaio desktop with XP. My DVD-CD

Have you tried burning a CD in the new drive? Because the drive is a DVD it will always be recognised as a DVD, but should work perfectly well with CDs both playing and recording.

I have the same problem. mine pulls the cd's in and then push them out so i just keep my finger there preventing it from pushing it out. It then loads but sometimes it doesn't see the cd in that slot so what i do is to push the load button and then select that slot WITHOUT putting a cd in.It then re-reads that slot and then find that cd.You might have to do that with all the slots.

If you are using R4, you should put the game in the slot then start the ds, otherwise it won't work. That all i know lol!!
