Turning the Alarm Volume up

When i set the alarm on this system, I put it to the volume i want it to. which is about 30 i think as this goes down to 1 as the highest volume, How ever when i press she, it sets itself to 62 and there is seemingly nothing i can do to stop this happening, which means the radio is just too quiet to wake me up. can anyone suggest what is wrong as this didnt used to happen when i first got it. only once i moved and plugged it in at new house. any help would be appreciated. Try keeping the system off for over 2 weeks as this fully resets the whole systems memory (this does make you loose your radio preset's and any other tweeks you have done to it) but with a reset unit it should fix its self

For the past two days, my alarm has been silent and I can't figure out why. I've tried putting the volume up, resetting the alarm sound and the alarm but nothing is working and the alarm still won't sound....

The setting for the alarm is actually independent from the rest of the phone volumes. When you go the set the alarm and get to the alarm sound list, use the volume rocker on the side of the phone to set the alarm volume.

For some reason, the Hero has a habit of screwing around with the volumes for the alarm. It happened to me a few times where my alarm got muted.

Thanks for looking and good luck.

Htc hero alarm not working.... no sound when alarm goes off

I had this problem with my Orange Hero too - there is a fix but it's quite obscure.
When you're inside the "choose an alarm sound" menu and scrolling through the list,
if you press the volume buttons on the side of the phone then you can manually adjust
the alarm sound (mine was set to 0). Not sure what causes it to set to zero,
presumably when you take the phone off silent mode it sometimes fails to update the
alarm as well? This still needs looking at because it means the alarm volume resets
to zero of its own accord, but it can at least be managed by manual readjustment.
    Hope this helps!

P.S. It might also be worth noting that when I was having this problem, no
third-party alarm apps would play the stock alarm sounds either.

Play around with the Alarm1 button, test it every minute and when it goes off press Alarm1 again to stop it, not snooze. Then try pressing vol + as nothing is playing. Keep trying until your alarm goes off at the desired volume that you put in your Alarm1 settings

Stop beeping at end of wash on bosh machine

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops. Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.
