I have Sony Picture package and until recently I was able to download the images on my memory stick via a slot on my canon pixma mp810 printer, now it comes up "unable to download" with no explanation as to why. The only clue is that we have been trying to get the computer to recognise a Sony Walkman without much luck as we only have windows 2000. If anyone has any ideas how to get my pc to pull images from my printer please let me know.

I just managed to fix this exact problem. First I went to my Control Panel and into Add or Remove Programs and scrolled down to Picture Package. Then expanding that, I clicked for support info which gave me the programs version number.
Next I went to http://www.ppackage.com/e/download.html#dl and downloaded the Picture Package Menu updater beside the appropriate version number and it started working immediately. Hope this helps.
