MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR My Sanyo PLC XU35 remains on standby therefore the lamp does not come on when turned on for some reason. The lamp replacement light is not indicating in yellow at all. So I presume the lamp is fine.

MY sanyo plc wl 2500 trurns off after a 1 minute working and i cant start it before. I take out powercable and put it back. 2 days ago lamp has changed but same problem stays. What shoul i try next?

I have a Sanyo XU35. Mine was starting up and showed a picture for about 15 - 30 seconds then shutting down. My lamp warning light was not coming on. When I put it in for repairs it turned out to be the lamp that needed replacing. The technician said it is not uncomman for the lamp to be going and the lamp warning light not to come on. I got my lamp on e-bay from ping_ngo for a great price.

We are having one sanyo plc xu 78 projector.when it began to switch it on the count down screen will displays when the count down timing is coming to 0 then its directly going to stand by mode. its not...

The countdown shows while the unit is going through its internal circuit testing. Usually if a problem is found, there will be indications with the standby lights and lamp/temp lights. Are there any other indications here or just the unit going into standby?

How do i replace the lamp

remove the lamp door on the bottom, remove the lamp (2 or 3 screws), replace with new lamp, replace door, reset lamp timer (menu-settings-reset lamp timer-yes).
