Question about Acer Aspire 6920 Notebook PC
Hmmm just found solution to the cine dash volume control problem.
You need to shut your laptop down.
Remove the battery for 10 secs.
Replace battery.
Boot up and all should be okay.
I have tried this on mine and it worked fine. If this does not work straight away someone else said something about LaunchManager but I didn't have to do that so can't give any info on that.

Eddiechapman's solution worked for me, with the important proviso - when you take out the battery, you must also unplug the power from the laptop. Leave the battery out for a bit, then put it back, plug it in and no more problems!

My Cinedash console has the same problem - it lights up and everything but has no effect on the audio level.
I also have a problem that the Arcade Deluxe s/w does not work - So in order to play Blu-ray movies I have had to purchase Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra.
When I contacted Acer they said the only way to get Arcade Deluxe back was to do a full factory reset - how rubbish is that? I can't believe that the software isn't available to download!
