My furnace ignites (gas), the draft fan turns on, and the blower runs for 20-30 seconds, but then the blower shuts down while the draft fan and gas ignition stay on. The blower will continue to cycle on and off for every 20 or 30 seconds but won't stay on continuously as before.
SOURCE: After first Ignition cycle igniter stays on too briefly to open gas valve gas.
Valid Most likely the problem with your dryer is the coils for the gas valve. Remove the access door (on the bottom right side on the front panel) and you can see the gas valve with three coils on top of it. They are coming as a kit with complete instruction. The part number for this kit is AP2669614.You can buy it here http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=SrmyP8LkIos&offerid=92089.542517043&type=10&subid=
SOURCE: right oven 2 burner natural gas.burners stay on for 20 seconds.
Looks like something is blocking the burners from the insides.. My mom has fixed a similar problem of my neighbor yesterday...the solution is to disassemble the burners and clean it thoroughly and put them back on..
Good Luck!
Eagle.
SOURCE: Coleman furnace blower runs continuously
You should be seeing 120 volts to the igniter. Anything less requires either a replacement of the transformer, start relay or control module.
SOURCE: furnace burner ignites then goes out
Sound like a thermocouple, or flame sensor.
If it has flame sensor make sure you check micro amps to verify operation, because it might be the board that controls the sensor.

Buy a new ignitor here; The Ignitor Store. Or talk an Amana dealer/Contractor to sell you one. They can range from 15 to 35 bucks! Depending on their mark-up. Give them your model number, and or ignitor part number. Their simple to change out, good luck, please contact if you have any questions.
1. Thermostat calls for heat.
2. Draft inducer motor starts.
3. Pressure switch attached by a small plastic or
rubber tube senses the negative pressure produced by
the draft inducer and closes.
4. Draft inducer runs for 30 seconds to a minute
before you hear a gas hissing sound. The ignitor did
not glow, the flame sensor (a small metal probe about
1/8" in diameter, with a white porcelain base) does not sense the flame, so after 8 to 10 seconds the hissing sounds stops
with no ignition of gas to heat your home. Your
furnace shuts down and goes into a lock out condition
until you turn your power switch back off and on
again. Then the sequence starts all over again with no ignition of the
gas.
Solution: You
probably need to purchase and install a new ignitor. I would suggest that you
inspect your ignitor closely for cracks. Make sure
you do not touch the ignitor with your bare hands. If
you do not visually see a crack, then you could have a furnace control board
problem or a limit, rollout switch problem. The furnace's
control board might not be supplying the voltage to the ignitor. If
your furnace lights and the gas stays on for 8 to 10 seconds, then shuts right
back off, then you need to clean your flame sensor with light sand paper or
steel wool. You might need a new flame sensor, but most of the time they can be
cleaned an will work well after cleaning.
