It makes electrical buzzing noise when you press the start button. ... More likely is that your motor is going bad...that will make a very loud hum when it starts to go...

check rollers and idler besure and watch how you remove belt its tricky

This sounds like the motor is bad. Hope you didn't pay too much for it. ;-)

check yopur blower wheel and blower wheel housing...turn with hand to check motor bearing,,if motor bearing tell husband a little bit of wd 40,,or white grease at each end

You need a belt. Here's a link to a site with a good set of instructions if you want to try repairing it yourself. (You should DIY. You can save a bunch on the service call and the belt is only about $20.)

Today my whirlpool dryer started making a loud noise. it is drying the clothes but the noise is loud.

it may have a loose drum you need to call some one to have look at it and don't try and fix it on your own because it won't work

My dryer is making a loud sound while drying the clothes. The heater still works, but is just very loud while drying. What is the problem with my dryer?
