Can anyone help me, I have a 320GB Iomega MInimax, and recently it is failing to mount on my desktop. I am using a MAC PowerBook G4 with OSX 10.3.9, and it still registers my drive in its 'System Profile' under 'firewire - hardware', but I cannot access it.
I've tried using different cables, different harddrive enclosures and even different macs, but it wont work. Please help!

try getting a new power cord from iomega, If that doesn;t work, the drive is probably corrupted. They are under a year warranty. You ship yours to them and they will send you a new one. Try the free chat on Iomega
Take the computer to a qualified Apple technician -- the hard-drive could have "died". Is the drive still under warranty? If so, you can get a replacement for free, but you will need to contact a "Data Recovery Service" if you want to "recover" any of your files.
The MiniMax is designed to match the MacMini from Apple and comes formatted out of the box to work with a Mac. (One of the few drives that is!)
I think Iomega supply various Windows drivers on the CD
They make chains with locks that screw to a secure surface. (floor, wall, desk, specially made etc.) You then hook you hard drive to the secure lock and someone can't easily pilfer it.
Hope that helps,
