After downloading music everything was fine for about a week but now will only play about 10 percent of music with sound. the rest plays but without sound.... confused as some plays some dont so cant be speaker problem.

you will have to download i tunes first then everything you have saved on you computer will transfer to i tunes then a cd will show in the left hand corner drap the file to there and it should start spinning thats when you know its working.... if yiou want more songs dowmload limewire as well

First you need to restart your itouch. Then, plug it in to your computer and wait for iTunes to pop up. Select a few songs from your library or some movies that you have and drag them to your iPod. What I did was, dragged some movies on my itouch to the tv shows folder as soon as i did this everything popped back on to my screen
