Reset The Lamp Timer.

While simultaneously holding down (+ . >) and AUTO SYNC on the projector, Press ( I ) ON and ( - . < ) on the projector.

"LAMP 0000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

NOTE..... Make sure only to reset the lamp timer only when replacing the lamp. If you reset the lamp timer and continue to use the same lamp, this may cause the lamp tp become damaged or explode...

SOURCE: sharp notevision xgnv6xu oval yellow spot

I have a similar issue with yellow pattern on the left and top right of my screen. Took it apart and found the blue lcd had damage that matched the yellow area that was projected. I thought it was the lens but it was the blue lcd .It has gone bad and no replacement. Are you interested in selling the bulb or the whole projector? I have since purchased another projector and am keeping the bad one for spare parts. Hope this helps..Ben

SOURCE: Cannot remove lamp assembly from Sharp XR-10X projector

Carefully try using a flat head screw driver on the middle plastic piece. make sure it is off...

Or try coming at it from the other side after taking the top of the machine off you can unscrew 3 screws and loosen whatever might be blocking it

SOURCE: Sharp 4:3 projector shows blue at 16:9

if it's a lcd projector, the polarizer on the blue lcd is fried due to excessive dust and heat. when the lcd is blacked out, the light reflects back through the polorizer, causing more heat. you'll have to send it to a sharp service center for repair. try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

White dots appears in my screen. I replace the lamp and the problem is the same. (Sharp xr32x)

I would be willing to bet the DMD chip is failing the cheapest used one i seen was on e-bay the chip # will be something like 1076-6319W the only part of the # that matters is the last from what i have seen they tell me the 6318W and 6319W is suppose to be the same chip the used on i seen on e-bay was $124.00 probably better off seeking a new projector if you can not replace yourself as you will have over half of the cost involved hope this helps Robert

It is probably mirroring the screens on your MacBook and the projector. If you want different resolutions and things on each screen, go to the Apple menu, System Preferences, Displays, Arrangement and uncheck the "Mirror Displays" checkbox.
