I have had this monitor for about 18 months and has been fine up until last night. I only just noticed, but near the top of the screen there is a thin light-coloured line that sort of gradiates (i.e. doesn't go across the whole screen) and it appears to get brighter near the middle and then fades away at the sides.
There also appears to be another line above and parallel to it but much much fainter. Any ideas?

Re: Two light lines have just appeared
Your driver transistors are failing on those "Rows" of Pixels.. a common problem .. you could try "Pixel Reviver" software from here http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor see if that helps.. but it possibly is on the way out sorry..

If its Bluetooth you need to put it in pairing mode by turning The device off and then turn it back on and continue holding the power button until this device power on light stays steady or is Blinking rapidly
Have you unplugged the power cord to the LCD? Let it sit for a minute, then try it. ALWAYS buy a UPS and plug any computer devices into it. Doesn't have to be big, a $50 unit will protect it from dangerous voltage surges.
I had the same problem. On the the dash on the left side near the steering wheel, there is a wheel like knob. Roll the knob until your dash lights come on when you have the headlights on. If its rolled in one direction they're off in the other they're on.
hi thanks for the question i would guess the motor but man thats a hard one if the dryer was hit by lightning it could have caused a fef problems myself i would call my insurance company tell them you were hit before you call the insurance check all appliances in your house you may find other problems thanks the appliance doc
Just fixed mine. Maybe it's a few years late. Hope you guys still have the display. It's the power supply board. I've just replaced 4 bulge capacitors near one edge of the PS. They are 2x1000uF 10V, 1x470uF 25V & 1x470 10V. I salvaged my parts from an old CRT monitor. Hey you can go green with your repairs too!
Try adjusting the video connection on the back of the monitor and kinda wiggle it from side to side to see if there's a loose connection.
One other thing to check (In case it's a newer LCD) is that the video isn't switched to DVI (It should be automatic, but it can't hurt to take note of this)
