Not sure if this is the same as your Problem, but
I once had a problem with an iPhone where the person at the other end was responding, but they couldn't hear me. I Think the rain got into the microphone hole on outside of the phone during a severe storm & I needed urgentt help cause of the rivers flooding around me. (NorthWest Oz).
Murphy's Law - a phone will always break down when you need it the most!
As a temporary fix, I simply switched over to the speaker phone. The other person could now hear me OK.
(Use the hands free switch on the screen to turn the speaker on)
The iPhone has 2 microphones and it appears that only 1 was functional. It uses the second microphone in it's noise cancelling circuit. I guess it compares one input to the other to cancel background noise.
Anyhow, the iPhone came right the next day after drying out.

if they can't hear you it sounds like your mic is going out if you can't hear them then your ear speaker is going out

I wish Apple would give us more control over the personal hot spot settings. I'd like to see a list of connected clients. Being that your phone is jailbroken I'm sure there's a file to edit to change the settings, just not sure where or how. Sorry

in call on your iphone you need to up the volume with the the volume buttons. simple as that.

Let me see if I can address some issue with you and help you understand the reasons why your iphone is not working with your device.

Okay blue tooth comes in many flavors and many abilities.

The iphone is not fully compatible with this device and several people as yourself have complained about this issue, currently as of late there was no work around.

Now the iphone uses blue tooth that the parrot just does not fully communicate well with witch causes this issue where you can hear the person but they cannot hear you. This compatibility issue has many people upset.

Now there may be a upgrade witch I will provide a website you can go to.

reinstall the phones software from nokia website..but you will loose all data from phone memory

Because of the design of these headsets, over time the wire leading to the mic can wiggle and break loose, which allows you to hear fine, but prevents the listener from hearing you. My bet is that it's the red wire, as it tends to have more pressure placed on it. The dismantle process isn't easy (i'm working on the very same problem at the moment!) but if you'd like to try it and are able to do very fine resoldering I can share my notes with you. Otherwise, you're out of luck and will need to purchase a new headset. Sorry I can't give you better news!

Perhaps the error is in the mouth piece of your unit. If you have a problem with the hardware, better send your phone to a Nokia Care Center to further check the hardware error.
