Question about Fuji FinePix S7000 Digital Camera
I have had this camera for at least 3 years and it gets a round while circle in the middle and sometimes a white outside frame. After about 20 pics it seems to go away. It happens every time I use the camera. When it isn't doing this it sometimes goes into a no reception mode like on TV with all sqiggly lines. These problems happen so often now I rarely use the camera and I used it almost every day. My husband wrote to a place that fixes cameras and they told him it sounded like the cdd whatever the hell that is. They also told him it would be cheaper to send it to Fuji to repair. Any input is appreciated.
If you are using re-chargeable Ni-MH batteries fully discharge them using the camera facility. Re-charge and discharge again. Re-charge and hopefully the problem will be resolved.

I don't know if this is the same problem, but a few months ago, I was getting a small circle in the same spot, every time I took a photo and the colour in that area of the picture was light. You can see it in the photo I've posted here, on the left side midway between the top and bottom. __I took it into Fuji, and I think they cleaned the CCD. It only cost about $50, and the problem is gone! Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Finepix S7000 problems
3 years is very old for a digi cam. Insofar the way they improve so rapidly Best bet would simply get the next one A repair would cost almost as much even if they offered to do it.
