Well on my father's HP Tower has a Switch for the Lights about
1 inch away from the Power button. Look for your Light Switch so you could Turn
them off

pressing power on button should be for 30 to 40 sec but the flashing lights means there is a hardware problem can find flashing light codes on the net you could try removing ram 1 by 1 c if that works hope this helps if not will keep an eye on this
hello there's a couple of things that could be wrong .the high pitch noise could be the convegance chip shorted out these are 2 big black chips connected to a metal frame called a heatsink the other could be the lamp burn't out
What do you mean it powered on to the blue light? Does anything show up on the screen? Does the system usually beep when it starts? If so, does it beep now?
sounds like something is drawing down on your 12 volt supply drives or on board regulators. Try it without the drives connectged, and see if you can get the system to boot up(you'll just get a notice that your drives are unavailable, but you'll already know that, right?
