Select your phone make model and proceed for the download.

As for the battery, maybe the battery is weak that's why it drains fast. Maybe you should just go ahead and replace the battery. Make sure you charge the new battery before you start using it.

Yes you should be able to access the data using a data cable as your computer will see the phone as an external storage device with data on it that can be transferred to your hard drive. You can also remove the media card from your phone and use a media card reader to connect it to your computer as well. Try resetting the phone (but keep the data and files)

From standby select > Menu > Settings > General Tab > Master Reset > Reset Settings (do not select Reset All or your content will all be deleted), then wiat for propmt and press Continue. You can also remove and reseat the battery afterwards as well.

it needs to have a software upgrade to rectify the problem. download the pc suite for a s/w update.

if this doesn't work you need to take to the repair centre so that they can perform a more advanced s/w upgrade..

Try to format your MS from another phone (or a cardreader).
Otherwise do this:
1. Insert MS into your phone
2. Do a master reset: Menu->Settings->Master reset->Reset all

BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE THAT! Master reset will delete all your files, contacts, etc.
