Resetting PIN on Nokia 6070

Hi, My 10 yr old daughter has been trying to enter a PIN on her Nokia phone ...attempting to change from the standard * to her date of birth.... The phone is asking for PUK code... I have entered her DOB here and it seems to accept this and goes on requesting to enter new PIN code.. I have entered DOB again and it asked to verify the new code.... however on entering this again it gave the message SIM card rejected... How can I reset her phone and unlock this, kind regards, Susan.

    my nokia phone is asking to enter the PUK code and when i type 0000, 1234, 12345, 123456 n pressed ok thn also no effect but when i type the dob it shows enter new PUK code and afterward it ask for verification of the code it says code error

    When my 8years old boy was playing with my NOKIA 6070, he touch some keys and PIN has been blocked. Then phone asked us to enter PUK code. When I entered my DOB, it asked me enter new PIN code. When I enter my boy's date of Birth as new PIN code and verify the same, then phone says my SIM CARD REJECTED.



    Now I don't know what to do. Please show me how to solve this problem.

    my brother hav brought nokia 6070 from australia n i have bolcked my imei code n after that i did wrong imei code then its asking puk code which is not 1234 or 0000 or 123456....what shuld i do can ne one help me?????

Most codes on phones have a generic code of "0000" or "1234" or "123456". try that as the PUK code. If not, contact the manufacture and they can give you the unlock code.

Some of the reasons why sim card getting rejected in your mobile
1.Bad SIM -if it wasn't unlocked you had get a message asking you to enter a PIN.Get the pin from an online vendor like http://www.wickedunlock.com/supported-phones/rs11wp7/ .
2.With a warning that you have 10 attempts to enter the correct PIN code or it could be locked forever ,if you don't get that message it's "mostly likely" unlocked.BUT find a phone with a known working SIM and see if it will work and connect to the network.

PUK is the property of your SIM card. If you enter wrong SIM PIN no. 3 times then you'll be asked to enter PUK code and if you enter wrong PUK code 10 times then your SIM could be deactivated.
Usually PUK is written in the intial SIM card package by your carrier.

You will need to speak to someone from your carrier to get/reset your PUK code.

My cell get locked
There are 2 possibilities here. The most likely issue is that your phone needs a PUK code, which can only be provided by your service provider. If that does not unlock your phone it is likely you will need to purchase a new SIM card. The security on the phones work by locking the phone when the PIN code is entered too many times incorrectly. If someone continues to attempt to unlock it with the wrong code, it will permanently disable the SIM.

2.To get IMIE of your phone type *#06# on screen of your phones.
3. This master code can be used as lock code when we are asked for the security code.
4.But always we can’t remember master code and we want to use an easier lock-code then we can set a new security code of our own wish by giving the Master-code as our old security code when asked for old code while resetting security code.
e.g.NOKIA 6600
Tools -> Settings ->(scroll down) security -> Phone and SIM ->(scroll down) Lock Code
Then it asks for old code where u can type the master code and then set the new code as you wish. When during formatting u are asked for lock code you can also enter Master code.

Complete information : The SIM card protects your subscription and not the phone from unauthorised users. If you change SIM cards you can still use your phone with a new SIM card. Most SIM cards are blocked at the time of purchase. If your SIM card lock is on you have to enter your PIN (Personal Identity Card) every time you turn on the phone. If you enter the wrong password three times in a row the SIM card gets blocked.
