Transfer Unit Replacement

Am having major problem in replacing transfer unit. Have slid out old unit and tried to slide in new unit but will not go in the last about half an inch for the screws to be done up!! I have tried to refrain from forcing it but appears to be catching on something but you can not see where any hold ups are. Is there any one that can help me with this frustrating problem??

Need to replace image transfer belt unit

C360 error: "Replace Image Transfer Belt Unit"
The error message under that title is "Have the image transfer belt replaced soon." It's a new unit, but resists doing the Gradation Adjust. Tried returning the old belt (which was working before the replacement) and error message remains, so apparently the problem is not with the new belt.

System Error Clear (System 1 -> Initialization) gives "Result: OK" but has no effect; the problem remains after machine restart. However, it does NOT at any time give L-5 error (Transfer belt unit accumulated rotation time excess warning), just continues to say "replace image transfer belt unit", and will not allow anything else to proceed. What am I missing? (Transfer belt clutch malfunction?

WHERE IS THE TRANSFER UNIT LOCATED ON KONICA

Unit is in the right side cover. New one should have instructions with it, but I think you unlock a handle and swap, then lock handle again.

Lexmark X500N says replace transfer belt, what is it, and how do I change it?

The transfer belt is located inisde the printer and is what moves the paper back out the printer. You will need to open the back cover of the unit then you will lift the top part of the printer off. This will expose the transfer belt. There is a bracket holding the transfer belt with two screws that will need to be removed. Then two more screws that are holding the belt assembly in place. Once those are removed then you can slide out the transfer belt assembly. The new replacement transfer belt assembly will slide back in replacing the old one. Then repeat the steps opposite to install. Then remove the four spacers on the new belt(on each corner). Then you will reset the counter for the belt and will need to run the printer alignment settings.
