Kenmore Eco Care Washer won't do anything. Was working fine then I removed the soap dispenser drawer - replaced it and the washer stopped working. What to do?
Thank you for any help.

Re:
There may be a "door closed" position switch that has been "bumped" during the process of soap dispenser drawer removal. the switch prevents accidental water leaks if door is open. your machine has a switch that is telling the control board that the door is open

Evening to you Allow the washer to start a cycle and have the dispenser drawer ajar and observe through which dispenser the water goes. Does the first stream go through the pre-wash dispencer, secondly notice where the main stream goes and lastly where the softener would go. If this can help you in any way just put use the dispencers as fits the washing. goodluck Kolbrun
You could have a clog in the housing underneath the dispenser where the water flows through a hose into the tub. Pull the dispenser drawer completely out. There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer and remove it. Check the opening at the bottom of the housing just inside the dispenser housing opening to see if a small sock or garment is clogging this opening. Reach down into this opening to see if an item is inside the hose. This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.
Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Replace the dispenser drawer and try the washer again.

its pouring out because the dispenser is getting clogged in somewhere and not letting the water to the drain pump so its pouring from the soap dispenser.
Remove the dispenser, pour water into the opening and make sure water can get into the machine freely. Inspect the opening for soap build up. If water goes down slowly , open the washer door and feel around the bellow for anything blocking the water inlet port into the washer (socks can sometimes get wedged up there and cause a blockage). If it all checks out ok, make sure the machine is properly leveled and not leaning forward. Hope that helps!
Remove the dispenser drawer by pushing down on the tab at the center back and pulling drawer out. Now, remove the top of the fabric softener compartment and the parts of the soap dispenser and clean them all out. An old toothbrush often helps. Reassemble and replace. They should siphon out now.
