Radio has been working fine for quite a while. But, now, when the ignition key is turned (to start the car) nothing happens to the radio. The 'manual' method to turn the radio on will not do anything. If the 'Power Button' is depressed, the radio will act like it is powering up - opening the door.....but after a few seconds it closes the door and powers off. I have verified all needed voltages and grounds. ANY Assistance will be GREATLY Appreciated! ! !!
Try holding down BUTTON [5], then press the RESET button (you'll need a ballpen between the AUTO and SCRL buttons). This worked on the KDC-MP825 (very similar to the MPV8025) when my wife had the same problem this month.
