The symptom you have indicates weak solenoid coils. The gas valve should open and the burner should ignite every time the glow bar igniter glows before it fades back off. Weak solenoid coils will usually open the gas valve until the solenoids become hot from the current and flame and then they don't have enough power to open the gas valve.

Replace both solenoid coils and your dryer will most heat and operate normally again. In order to access and replace the solenoid coils you will need to remove the front panel.

Here is the coil kit to order.

I have a kenmore gas range md 79072909012 the oven lower burner has delayed ignition to the point that temperature is loss in oven and heavy gas smell in home....I am a licensed mechanical contractor in...

If its lighting with the panel and baffle removed, but now with them installed, but you get a heavy gas smell its likely the gas mixture is too rich (i.e. the covers are too tight, gas pressure pushes all air away from burner so only gas and very little air occupies the space above the burner and its too rich to light, oxygen starved.) Not an issue when the covers are removed, so it lights fine. Try adjusting the burne for less gas an more air, see what happens.

I was just wondering my rotisiree burner dosent work .. please help asap! thanks

If it is not igniting and hold the flame and getting red, it could be that the burner is dirty and clogged or the thermocouple that keeps the burner lit has failed. Please keep in mind, when lighting an infrared burner, you must hold the burner control knob in for several minutes. At least until all the ceramic plaques are glowing brightly. if the igniter won't light it, try match lighting it, while you hold the burner control knob in.

Most gill manufacturers recommend lighting and burning the infrared rotisserie burner on a regular basis, whether you use it or not,. Doing this helps to keep the burner clean.

I hope this has helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Oven takes forever to pre-heat and then doesn't keep the temp constant. turning on stove burner helps sometimes, and sometimes it works fine. do we need new thermostat or...? not sure if i have right...

Very common problem, I would replace the oven ignitor first as they get weak with time and cause intermittent burner lighting. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

When lighting any burner...the igniter continues after lighting."click, click, click, click, click" and so fourth. Thank you for your time.

My parts list doesn't tell me if that is an auto relight unit or not. But since you say it happens on any burner I'll leave out stuck ignitor switch for now.
Check the house ground wire to the unit and check that the burner caps are installed properly. The auto units read a ground when they ignite so if the burner caps are on wrong or dirty they can cause this.
