At the top of the screen it bends up to the left at the bottom it bends down to the left aslo the red id too bright any ideas it's a panasonic cinamavision and is about 7 years old

It sounds like you need the convergence amplifiers replaced. Are you an expert solderer? If not, I would have a qualified technician repair this. Most places here in Alabama will fix it between $200-$300.

The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.Tv have colors R,G,B lines mis alignment,have colors shadows pictures or 3D pictures look alike.The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts on tv convergence board,must be replaced to solved the tv picture convergence problems.The shop,will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.
You have a focus and screen control box it has 3 controls on top 3on bottom these are the controls for Red-Green-Blue screen drives and for focus to each tube. IT should have Focus /Screen on it.
look the only thing u can do is have someone put the parts in for u the parts alone is 40-$ 60.00 and maybe $ 150 in labor that is all u should have to pay. that is what i would charge a customer to repair there tv set and it can be service right there in your home.i hope this helps marty
first reset the setting to factory default. if it persists on a regular image too, either the lens, the tunnel or something else in the optical engine is damaged (from a fall?).
the reflecting mirror is likely loose and falling down inside the light reflecting tube. you should have seen the band getting darker and larger, the small mirror is in front of the lamp and bends the light, remove the lamp and look down the tube (light path)
