Our fax machine will not turn on.

Our fax machine keeps making this popping sound, like someone is hitting the speaker and the machine will not turn on. I have tried replacing the cords, moving them to another telephone line but have had no luck, is there anything else i can try or should be doing?

I have a Pioneer VSX-D510 reciever with 5 speakers and sub. The sub keeps making continual popping sounds at higher volume levels when watching movies, tv etc. Have to turn most of the way down. Also,...

Manuals help a lot.

Tell us about the speakers. Maybe they're not compatible.

As far as what to expect to hear from surrounds, that depends on the sound engineering.

Test tones for speaker setup will get it all dialed in. Page 17.

There is no sound coming from the speakers on the SC-HT900 dvd home theater sound system. It used to make a loud pop sound but then would still work. Now it does not make any sounds. The dvd will play...

May be a fuse inside blown , if it makes a loud pop that can take out a fuse, If you find one blown , replace with same type and try machine .Dont replace with higher rated fuse though , if it keeps blowing. Try using headphones and if you get sound , may be speakers.

When trying to fax, iam getting a fast busy signal, this problem just strated

This could be related to the fax machine, but more than likely it's a phone line issue. Try sending a fax manually by using the fax machine's speaker or "on-hook", then manually dial the number. Listen carefully as the machine dials and make sure it's even dialing out. Do not hit start until you hear the other fax machine pick up. If the "fast" busy signal occurs before dialing is complete or right after, have your phone line checked.

Code 721 keep coming up and the machine keeps beeping. How do we fix it?

Error 721: Cannot connect to the Pop Server. (Incorrect POP Server IP Address) Pop Server is down.

Solution: Check the Pop Server IP Address. Contact the Network Administrator

Were you setting up email by chance, you need to make sure the email server settings are set correctly for your POP email provider. Otherwise you will get this message. If you don't use email, go into settings (Fax Parameters) and disable email features.

Won't send faxes

did you put the originals page(s) in the machine FIRST to fax, then enter the number then press start?
If you enter the phone number 1st BEFORE putting your originals in the feeder, the machine thinks you want to make a copy.
The FAX Mode is the setting for incoming faxes.
Try that and let me know if it works.
There should also be a button called "Hook" or "speaker" or something that you hit and you will hear the dial tone.
Once you hear the dial tone, you can dial the number, (make sure the pages you want to fax is in the feeder.
Once you hear the fax high pitch noise, hit the start button.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if it does and also remember to leave a feedback and rating if I have helped you.
Thanks and good luck.

Can not receive faxes

On the front of your machine, you will see a button that says "In/Out". I bet someone hit that by mistake, turning off auto-answer.
